With so many American cars that have had recalls in the past, I do not remember the media and public showing of displeasure with a car company. Sure, Toyota tried to deny there was a problem and direct the attention towards something trivial, but this attack on the Toyota brand has the smell of media being manipulated by other commercial forces...American auto in particular...
