Socratic Debate

Hands Free Devices While Driving

Many states have made talking on a Cell Phone without a Hands Free Device (headset) illegal. Do you still drive and talk without one? What about texting while driving?

The most I'll do is glance at the exterior screen to see who's calling; if I need to take the call, I pull over. Tried a Bluetooth for a while, but hated it.

I use my speaker, the headset is a pain. A study came out today that showed that hands free devices have not reduced the number of accidents. Texting is the bigger issue, which is essentially what you are doing when you look down to dial or select a number anyway.
