Yes, it's not the same. My favorite two singers (Beyonce and Alicia Keys) have been around for quite some time. B for over 10 years and A for about 7. Other than the two of them there were no other memorable female artists in the 2000s. There are no good girl or boy groups like in the 80s and 90s. The only male singer that's worth listening to is John Mayer. Music is in a sad state. In the car, I typically play old school stuff for my daughter...as far back as Sam Cooke. She likes him and MJ.
