A Day in the Ancient World Description: This nicely made and humorous video looks at the state of the world on a specific day in the ancient world. The science is solid and the movie clips are cleverly chosen. The motive of authorship will become clear at the end of the video; do you feel the point was successfully made? The Hurt Locker: Avatar From The Other Side's Point Of View Description: And you wonder why it won best picture with all the wars going on? I have read that Avatar lost because it was "Anti-American" Avatar was anti-Imperialism, anti-resource hoarders. Hurt Locker wont get a dime of my money. "Hoo-Rah" that! American Men Should Always Sit On the Toilet (even if they have to only pee) Description: Because men do not sit down when they have to pee, they miss opportunities to evacuate their systems. You will find that most busy American men suppress the urge to have a bowel movement until the need becomes urgent. Does this lead to a greater incidence of colon cancer in American men? This I don't know. Be on the safe side. Sit down like Asia. Posted by Jukejoint on 03/05/2010 | Topic: Cultural Behavior | Views: 49

The Movie Slumdog Millionaire just tells you how trashy the Indian culture can be. Description: Yeah I said it. Where you are born, its assumed you should be dumb as a rock. It made the Indian version "who wants to be a millionaire" seem corrupt to the point of the player getting kidnapped because they thought he was cheating because someone from the slums should not know the answers. I'm sure there is a sense of reality. And when Indians come to America they bring the same attitude toward the people they learn are minorities. Stupid caste mindset. Augmented Reality will solve the lonely's lonliness Description: Once the coding for this is more advanced people will spill their guts to their virtual friends who can give them logical and rational responses. Even companionship. Posted by junior on 02/27/2010 | Topic: Invention and Innovation | Views: 18

We need to understand ourselves more from a world perspective Description: Culture seems to always misguide us from the truth. In todays world it misguides us for profits even if it cost us our lives. Saturated fats were always made out to be the bad guy even though culture was actually pounding flours and corn down our throats but blaming other things for the problem. Does We Are The World 2010 Measure Up? Description: Everyone knows the original. So, what do you think of this version for Haiti? My favorite parts were when they were singing in Creole. Wyclef yelling out and Jennifer Hudson's voice gave me chills. The original is better overall, but I think this version packed a bigger emotional punch.
Artists include: Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Tony Bennet, Barbara Streisand, Toni Braxton, Jamie Foxx, Wyclef, Miley Cyrus (she impressed me), Enrique Iglesias, Pink, Lil' Wayne, T-Pain, Akon, LL Cool J (with some other rappers), Josh Groben, Bebbe Winan, MJ/Janet, Celine Dion, Usher,Fergie, Kanye West, Will I Am, Maroon 5 lead singer....I don't know the other people.

Pharmeceutical Companies making Americans hooked on drugs. Description: They are American's leading drug push now. Listen to the side effects of a drug to only Aid in sleep. SUICIDE tendencies? You have to be kidding me. The side effects mentioned in the video is laughable. If this was a street drug it would be banned without hesitation. It doesn't take a lot of snow to cause terrible damage Description: It doesn't take much. People brag about how well they can drive in the snow and SUV's drive extremely fast during snowy seasons but it can cost you. Posted by sanco on 02/15/2010 | Topic: The Earth | Views: 23

I think the Olympic Games Should Have been Delayed Description: In light of the luger dying, it just seems to me that the right thing to do would've been to postpone the opening games of the Olympics by a day or two. Because unless he or she is totally void of human compassion, all of the athletes are going to be thinking about this guy dying. Every interview that they do is going to be about how they felt about what happened to him. The Olympics are a "live" event, it's not like NBC doesn't have any other programming to replace it. I'm not a huge fan of the Winter Olympics anyway. I only like the ice skating. At the very least, I think they should eliminate the luge this time around. If You're Pro-Choice, Do You Support Pam Tebow's Choice? Description: Pam Tebow became ill when she was pregnant with Tim Tebow and was advised to get an abortion. However, she chose life.
This Superbowl 44 ad featuring Pam Tebow and Tim Tebow, a 2007 Heisman Trophy winner, sparked controversy from Pro-choice advocates.
The Pro-choice crowd which included NOW, and Planned Parenthood tried to get CBS not to run the ad, claiming that the ad sought to restrict women's "reproductive rights".
Apparently, NOW and Planned Parenthood are threatened by Pam Tebow's choice of life for her son, because the only choice they really want women to think they have is the choice to abort their unborn child.
NOW and Planned Parenthood looked like fools after the ad aired because the ad didn't mention abortion at all. Planned Parenthood then came out and claimed that the ad celebrated violence against women.
After seeing the ad, with the tagline, "Celebrate Family. Celebrate Life." do you support Pam Tebow's choice? Supporting her choice doesn't restrict anyone else's choice. Isn't that what choice is supposed to be about...a choice? Posted by CJ on 02/12/2010 | Topic: Abortion and Affirmative Action | Views: 50
